Angela has more than 20 years’ experience in senior roles in corporate and not-for-profit sectors. She has held the CEO role at a national not-for-profit, overseeing the operational and strategic objectives of a labour-rights based accreditation program. In this role, she delivered on numerous major projects and growth, and was the key spokesperson for the organisation.
In the private sector while working for an ASX law firm, Angela directed corporate social responsibility, internal communications, and social and free media activities across Australia and the United Kingdom. She advised the Group Managing Director and CEOs on internal and external communications, messaging, and strategy, and Chaired the Environmental Consultation Committee in Australia.
Throughout her career Angela has been responsible for managing many high-profile issues and has provided expert advice on crisis communications and stakeholder engagement. While based in London, Angela worked for the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012, an authority monitoring the sustainability of the London Olympic and Paralympic Games. Prior to this, she had worked for five years across media and policy as a Queensland Government Ministerial Advisor. Angela holds a Bachelor of Media and Communications and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact.
